MBICEM’s First Frame: India's first International students' film festival.

MBICEM is the premier institute which provides a unique platform ‘First Frame’ to students to demonstrate their organizing skills and showcase their talent in photography at national level and film making at the international level. First Frame is an opportunity for all the amateur photographers and aspiring filmmakers to project a different angle of the world and tell and sell stories with their rolling cameras and get awarded. It is a movement that started way back in 2003, by a bunch of student cinema enthusiasts of MBICEM, New Delhi, who wanted to give the storyteller within them a stage to share all their stories amongst fellow storytellers. What started out as a small media college affair turned into the biggest celebration of student films in the country.  Four years, after its inception, the festival took another giant leap by going International. This made First Frame, India's first international students' film festival. The fourth edition of First Frame added another feather to its cap by introducing the F8: National Students’ Photography Competition. The festival started in the year 2003, set a benchmark for showcasing students’ talent and since then the bar has been raised year after year.
