The students of second
semester organized a youth parliament on February
11 at the Institute as a part of
their course curriculum. Dressed in whites as politicians, students divided
themselves into two groups i.e. The Ruling Party and the Opposition with one student acting as the speaker of the House. Matters related to Roads, Corruption, Street Vendors Bill were discussed and debated thoroughly in the House. Students were quite vocal and the discussion lasted for more than two hours. The session concluded with snacks served to students. The whole idea behind the exercise was to make students understand the procedure of a bill becoming an Act in the Parliament.
